Malka Weinstock, RHIT, RAC-CT

is the founder and President of Vantage Healthcare Consultants. She received Registered Health Information Technician accreditation from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and is certified as a Resident Assessment Coordinator from the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators (AANAC). With over 25 years of experience in the long-term care industry, Malka has served as Director of Health Information Management for several large multi-facility organizations. She brings deep experience in the full spectrum of healthcare facilities – skilled nursing, assisted living, and adult day health services – to her role as coordinator of the Vantage team of consultants. She has lectured widely to diverse audiences on topics of interest to the Long Term Care Industry.

Matis Weinstock, MS, LNHA

Matis brings decades of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in both large and mid-sized facilities to the Vantage team. His seasoned and professional approach will serve both Administrators and DONs who need to submit their POC within a looming deadline. With a steady hand he will smoothly guide your facility toward compliance with Federal and state regulations. His experienced eye can quickly discern problems that need correcting before the State survey team arrives.

Phyllis Quinlan, RN, PhD, CLNC

Phyllis is the senior consultant at Vantage specializing in skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Quinlan combines exceptional people skills with her wealth of experience and expertise – including directorship in large long-term care facilities, and leadership roles in both acute and long term care settings. She holds several national clinical certifications and is a certified legal nurse consultant. Phyllis holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration and is a contributing author to NursingSpectrum magazine and Professional Women’s Network publications.

Betty Bonta, CSW

Betty has a long, distinguished career in geriatrics serving for decades as Administrator in Adult Care facilities. Her sensitive compassionate approach to elder care has endeared her to facility residents and won the respect of colleagues throughout the industry. She has served on various New York State Department of Health advisory committees and was recognized as Administrator of the Year by the Empire State Association of Assisted Living (ESAAL). She now serves as Vantage’s senior consultant for Adult Residential Care Facilities and Home Health Care Agencies.

Ingrid Hermus, MMScPT

Ingrid is Vantage’s consultant for Rehab services. She has served for decades with distinction in the finest Rehab facilities in the country by providing hands-on PT services and as a Clinical Instructor for PT students and aides. She is familiar with both in-patient and out-patient Rehab services and provides the Vantage edge for facilities that need quality oversight of their Rehab clinical records.

Sarah Schlesinger, MA, RD, LDN

Sarah joins the Vantage team as a dietitian consultant. She has had over twenty five years of experience in Food and Nutrition including providing dietary consulting services to Nursing Homes and Adult Care Facilities. She has lectured on topics in Nutrition at the university level, and developed the curriculum for the Dietary Manager’s program at LaGuardia Community College. Her expertise includes developing and implementing policies and procedures in clinical dietetics and food service management. She stands ready to assist Vantage clients in assuring regulatory compliance and providing in-service training in the area of Nutrition and Food Service Management.

Oyeymi O. Fasehun, RN, RAC-C

Oyeymi, affectionately known as Yemi, brings years of experience as a Regional Director of Nursing in the corporate environment of LTC to the Vantage team. She advanced through the ranks of Nursing from a supervisor to MDS Coordinator, to VP of Nursing. She now trains Directors of Nursing and is the Vantage specialist for implementing our acclaimed Care Plan System in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Her cheerful style of teaching inspires her audiences and has them coming back for more.

Irina Rud, RN, MA, LNHA

Irina brings to Vantage her rich experience in Long Term Care. She is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in both New York and New Jersey and has served with distinction in large proprietary and voluntary facilities in both states. In true Renaissance fashion Irina expanded her career to include a Nursing degree and is a skilled clinician specializing in elder care in the SNF and home care settings. Irina’s unique perspective combines the clinical expertise of an RN with the leadership quality of an LNHA.
